And yes, the skin color is a sight that his liver is failing - since we've been kept in the dark about what his health is, there is no telling if this is final or if he'll come back from hospital, but it's close. Between the broken voice, how he doesn't show his face anymore because he probably looks like death, and now the liver failing, I doubt they'll be able to do anything significant for him.
