I've never watched NYPD Blue. I remember it was controversial when it debuted because they showed a butt or something.

Pretty sure that show was never aired here. I could be wrong but I've never heard of it.

Me neither but it went on for twelve seasons. Looked in the related section and not one of his shows I heard of except for Cop Rock and Hill Street Blues. The former because it's always mentioned as being one of TV's biggest blunders and latter since it was on some doc about 80's influence.

It did. I can even recall having heard the name on television several times back in the day, but that's about the extend of my knowledge. Never watched a single episode.
