Midnite screenings is garbage. Unscripted, overlong babbling between annoying morons with no real analysis. Not to mention hideous to look at. You can't wait till you get home to a proper camera set up? You must film the thing in a cramped car with shit lighting? I'd even take Jeremy Jahns over that shit if I need reviews on fresh films. His videos aren't particular interesting or intelligent either, but at least they are short and don't look like they were filmed with a potato.

I usually don't look at them. But those long, rambling reviews about batshit or shitty movies (religious movies, january horror, tyler perry) are somehow a great sleep aid for me. Not that it is boring, but I don't care about watching the movie and brad and a few people talking for 45 minutes or an hour is interesting enough not to annoy me and have my thoughts drift off, but unimportant enough so I can fall asleep.
WrestleWrestle was also great for that. But ranting for an hour about something he just watched for private entertainment anyway is too much effort for The Wreck formerly known as Spoony.

I guess the appeal is that you get their raw, unfiltered opinion right after the credits have stopped rolling. Or something.

Midnight Screenings are awful because Brad believes the longer a video is the better. So he tries to connect it to whatever pop culture character or event he can and then ultimately diverge on a completely different topic because he loves the sound of his own voice.

The best one is his review of Dumbo. His friend doesn't smile or entertain Brad with his pop culture references and you can just visibly see how done they are with everything. They even defend it to a degree just to irritate him.
