JonTron has already done non-vidja stuff in the past, and the general style of his videos hasn't changed too much. He's very much still just poking fun at silly stuff.
Doge on the other hand did the classic IN blunder of making an abrupt change. "Nostalgia Critic is dead, guys. Here's the new show!"

How can a man as steadily growing fatter by the year like Jose hang around a guy like Other Joe who clearly works out? Does he not get invited to the gym? I don't think I could sit around and see a man waste away like that.

It's a format he started last year called Freak show Cinema. He did the same thing for movies like Freaked and some Raggedy Ann movie etc.

You may not like "le angry reviewer" but it seems they've been replaced with a bunch of stupid zoomers talking in a nasal whiny voice about old Simpsons episodes and other garbage media that was aired long before they were even born in a super pretentious 'analytical' way as if it were pieces of classical art.
Not sure what's worse.
