Radom thought here but … I was marathoning both Cine Masochist and Good Bad Flicks episodes for movie suggestions when I realized these guys used to be professionally very close to Lupa and Brad (doing crossovers and the like) and have since tacitly distanced themselves from them while at the same time doubling down on a decidedly more traditional tone to their reviews AKA we like to eat pussy an watch action scenes.

Correct me if I’m wrong but neither Brad nor Lupa have really recommended or congratulated Cecil for his In Search Of documentaries.

Why does he have a separate show for reviewing this? He still acts and talks like the Snob, so why not just do a Snob episode on it then? Maybe in the early days when the show was mainly about exploitation movies, but nowadays there are no requirements a movie must meet to be snobbed.

I remember older Snob videos basically alternating between deadpan and smug delivery and you could tell he was trying to do a bit. Was it when he started talking about religious films that he decided to just put the costume on and get mad at everything?

This. I actually liked years back when he did stuff like Rock: It’s Your Decision, he even made fun of the character gimmick with a one off Bootlegger Bill joke character.
