your right it's was just an average review. from what I remember. The film wasn't that good either just underwhelming. so I don't think he was 'bashing' a cult classic.

The movie The Wall is total shit and everybody knows it. If it wasn't for the song nobody would even remember it. Same thing goes for Tommy the movie (Pinball Wizard). Yes, there is a pinball machine as well and it's incredibly lame for a pin with a playfield that actually looks okay. But then it's a Data East so that's somewhat expected. Their software usually sucks ass.

Glad I’m not alone in this school of thought. Personally I think Pink Floyd is overrated as fuck, I remember this dipshit in school who jerked off to them for pretentious bullshit reasons, like some real forced shit.
