What's the average cost of living with a house, dog, orc and alcohol abuse? My dad spent over 1,000NOK, which is around 120$. But booze is loads more expensive in Norway, so lets say he used 200$.

So, Spoony is now bitching about the latest Isaac expansion that came out in fucking January. Way to be late to that whole thing which was mostly fixed already. Always keeping up with the latest gaming trends!

Three months is ultra current for Spoony. Usually, he's YEARS behind.

Remember that his lifestyle now is pretty much the same as when he was making that several (3,4, 5) grand per month on patreon. Something's gotta give. He's gotta be slashing his expenses radically.

I always like to play the guessing game of how Spoony is able to afford a home on his diminishing income. I doubt he's making much off youtube, his streams earn very few hits and he hasn't made the type of videos that would attract high viewership rates in years, and the last movie review he made isn't even available for viewing in the US. His roommate has a job but it's retail, so it's roughly minimum wage and retail is often part time, so I dunno. I still doubt that she's even paying to live there, so I question how much she's contributing. Considering how much she seems to not give a fuck about the mortgage, it looks like she's mostly just enjoying her time at Spoony's place while he still has it.

Like, I assume he saved up a lot of money from when he was scamming his fans for 5K a month and is just burning that off. He could also be borrowing money from family members. His parents are supposed to be Boeing engineers or something so I can see them having a lot of money that they'd be willing to throw at their black sheep kid to keep him out of their house.

From what I know socialblade is more or less accurate, and usually correct value is something in between min and max. It means then that Spoony gets ~800$ from youtube. There is also possibility of some autistic fans donating directly(although I wouldn't count on it now, when they can pay by patreon), he also had some shop with posters or shit. Maybe he gets additional ~100$ from things like that. That would mean he earns ~1800$. Still too much for him to panicking.

I don't see how socialblade can be considered even remotely accurate, considering their estimate is so wide that it's saying he's either making practically nothing or earning more than minimum wage per month. Even if you go halfsies I'd still say that doesn't seem particularly accurate, especially for this year, where he just hasn't been releasing any videos that people actually want to watch.

And let's be real, he's not selling posters. That would require maintaining an E-shop, and even that's too much work for him.

Still, even if he's making $1,700, is that really enough to pay a mortgage in the state he lives in? Cause that shit wouldn't fly where I live.

I remember Orcil tweeting awhile back, as a defense of her mooching, that Spoon bought the house with savings. Two scenarios I see- he paid the $200k from that, or he put down a sizable down payment and his monthly is low. I saw the house he bought on realtor.com and its doable.
