Not in of itself, no. Firstly, a civil lawsuit is not going to show up on a background check and secondly, even if it did, an employer's not going to say 'Oh. I see you've been sued here. I'm sorry we can't hire you'.

What is a lot more likely is that a prospective employer looks her up on social media, sees that she's a massive social justice crusader and sees that she's been sued for being a social justice crusader and decides that she's more trouble than she's worth
