I was watching some random let's player channel, and I switched to a platform where adblocker isn't available. Dude had like 8 fucking ads on a 40 minute video.

They say that's still a better ratio than tv. Is it though? Tv shows had more production effort go into making every minute of on-air time entertaining. It wasn't just some dsp-tier sped sperging about a vidya gaem.

I think you are mistaken. His channel hasn't really been a proper vidja channel for years. It is the Super Boogie Pity Party Show channel, made by Boogie, about Boogie, and mostly for Boogie.
