Was it that bad? I never watched the cartoons, but the Orson comic strip was okay. Better than 21st century Garfield anywayKeith Chegwin wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:45 amYeah, I was legitimately disappointed whenever an Orson's Farm bit would come up. I wanted to see Garfield, not this 'B'-tier cartoon that outlived its source material by a long mile.

Re: Doge Walker and Channel Awesome
It wasn't bad it was just 'eh'. You know, I watched the show because I wanted to see Garfield and instead, like once an episode, I'm treated to a bit about characters who are maybe a tenth as funny or interesting.
Reason for that is that the comic strip never lived long enough to become shit unlike Garfield. Their appearances on Garfield and Friends greatly outlived the strip they originated from

Garfield Minus Garfield is the correct answer.

That's not saying much. An ice pick to the balls is better than 21st century Garfield.

Why did the characters' eyes all gradually get bigger over the years?

Basically the same reason an anime or manga character's eyes are so big. Bigger eyes are more expressive and generally easier to draw. They're easier to match as well. A lot of artists will tell you one of the difficult things about drawing a face is getting the eyes to matchda PAC Nigguh wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 9:04 pmWhy did the characters' eyes all gradually get bigger over the years?

Which is why half of the entire Image Comics line had either closed eyes or one eye being some glowy cyborg thingy.
