Lucas can be forgiven because he legit tried, had no dumb agenda and KNEW that he fucked up with Episode I. He saw, fresh out of editing, that is was a mess. He also recognised when it hit the theatres that people fucking hated Jar-Jar and shelved the cunt ASAP.
Lucas did not go around, calling the fans a bunch of names, paid the entire shill media to suck his dick or threatened cinemas to play his movies or else. Yes, he was a bitch about Titanic doing so well and he's not the brightest guy around and a terrible writer that hates writing. But I genuinely believe he wanted to meet and exceed expectations. He just didn't have it in him. He does not deserve to see the total assraping Disney is doing to his legacy.

Disney are just plain evil. Worse writing, total hatred of the IP, agenda up the ass and a "that'll do" attitude. Yeah, let's just hire any random fuckwad as a director. Everyone shits on Lucas for being arrogant, etc. for doing the prequels himself, but he did ask Spielberg, Frank Darabont, and others to direct the movies or help with the scripts and they were all "Lulz, do that shit yourself, nephew." He did get that weird guy to help him co-write AOTC, but as far as I can tell he only added Milady into the lexicon.

Like many people have asked about Ghostbusters, I have to ask about Star Wars: what is the need to shove in some liberal feminist agenda into it?
Ghostbusters was never a masculine Conan movie where people smack women around and Star Wars even less so. Fucking hell, Star Wars WAS a "peace and love" movie. It literally ended with the words "celebrate the love"



I mentioned in some previous post that maybe Lucas fucked over his prequels because he thought that the "peace and love" mentality was dated, but in my opinion the original trilogy wasn't heavy handed and the message was generally speaking more universal than that. Lucas also told a decent story. Disney on the other hand has no tact, they just throw in whatever political shit they happen to believe in and the rest is "lightsabers and lazers, who cares lololo".

I'm not a Star Wars fan and never have been, but I'm kinda surprised how annoyed I am at Disney for ruining SW just for quick buck.

Perhaps I should have said people who dont jack off to the OT dont see the huge quality difference between the OT and prequals which is what I basically meant to say so you hating both still falls under that.
