Totally this. I only saw one of his videos a couple months back when I was looking reviews of A Serbian Film from YT. His sense of humor is unbelievable shitty and for the whole review he tried to make fun how he was soooo disgusted by the movie. I can understand if you have issues with real animal killings or something in movies but ffs if you can't handle fictional violence, stick with some fucking Donald Duck movies then. He acted disgusted so hard especially at the baby rape scene that it got me thinking is he just overacting here? Like, some pedophiles can be some of the loudest anti-pedophiles in normal life to keep the appearance. Either he really is a pedo or he's a complete beta pussy clown. Or both.

The problem with his review wasn't that he didn't like the fictional violence or that it disgusted him. The problem was that he could not shut the fuck up about it. He completely ignored all the other merits the film might have had and didn't even bother to really discuss some of the things the director has said about his film. All he had to do was to make a tweet saying "I didn't like the film. It was repulsive and too much for me" and that would have been enough.

There's nothing worse than a long video review where the critic is just complaining about one thing the whole time. And this is coming from someone who generally likes the shit Phelous puts out

I think there's also social pressure to some extent, it could've been damaging his reputation to admit liking (or even trying understanding) a movie including rapes and all this other extreme content. In SJW social circles you have to virtue signal and condemn all naughty-naughtyness constantly. Or else. It's so easy for normalfags to label these films like Serbian Film, Salo, Cannibal Holocaust etc. as some sensationalistic garbage which is only meant for a fapping material for weirdos.
