Her relatives would offer some basic bitch advice and then totally withdraw. As in, "I care just enough to suggest to the obvious but not enough to give a shit about this."

Don't forget that she keeps her Spoony obsession a secret from her family because they suggested to her that she should maybe stop obsessing about him.

Talked to a guy a month ago who is a doctor specializing in rehabilitative medicine. From what he told me, "patient ratings" are now all the rage and as a result doctors are strongly discouraged from using words like "overweight."

Instead they talk about BMI (body mass index). Not surprisingly "your BMI could be better" is less piercing than "holy shit lose some weight" and people like Rachel are able to completely ignore it.

This is in the US, I assume it's even more pozzed in Canada, and it probably took a year for the therapist to get the 7 layers of institutional permission to tell Rachel "your joints are disintegrating because you eat to much."

It's like that in Bongland too. Most doctors are insanely politically correct because the NHS tells them to be. As a result, if you're a fat fuck and your being a fat fuck is impacting your health it will take them a while before they come out and say 'Look, maybe you should lose some weight'

This is the same guy claiming that he turned on his camera and tried to stream every night for a year, only to break down sobbing every time. He's done his part to string them along.

They don't actually want to watch his streams, though. They want to be 10 years younger, watching his streams. Aging musicians get this kind of "fan" too. It's pure nostalgia, in his case for millennial nerds. That's why so many invoke Spoons and their Dark Timez. Look at Spanish Sperg and the trannie of the month. Their lives still suck. Spanish Sperg is living in a garage in his 40s, having threatened to blow his head off in front of his indifferent girlfriend. They're still in what anyone would consider "Dark Timez." But then they had more hair and the illusion that something would change.

What kind of advice would one even give to "My roommate yelled at me FOR NO REASON when I tried to enjoy ancient @TheSpoonyOne videos at max volume!" ?

But rly the early Spoony videos made him appear more normal and DARE I SAY, relatable, than the majority of the CA crowd. I guess that's why I watched the stuff then, and Doge for different reason since he was about the only one believably "doing a character". With everyone else I couldn't see them being any different in day to day life.
