It literally is Nostalgia Critic with a laugh track, except the laugh track laughs less and less as the "film" plays.

I actually prefer it with a laugh track. It sort of makes up for the cringiness of some of the jokes.

So I'm going to say that the idea of reenacting new movies for reviews to get around the fair use thing is a good idea, it actually is, the problem though is its really time consuming, expensive, and unless done perfectly its completely shit, or with that RLM type satire charm like this.
