I follow only limited few people in my bubble to get news, to be honest, I have no idea of any of the shit that's possibly happening on twitter. I basically use it the same way I used to more than 10 years ago, when it was still in it's infancy. In digital media, you gotta stay updated on things, unless you want to become a NEET. And I don't have a trust fund or a grocery store to inherit from my parents, so I use twitter as a tool for education as well (yeah, incredibly so, if you know where to look, you get people that share useful shit). And if any of the accounts I follow starts acting like they're retarded, retweeting stupid shit, they're gone.

Obviously, social media is the worst invention of humanity. Give me a fucking dynamite any day, you won't be able to ruin entire population with few explosions. People act like psychos and it's not just the "faggots", it's the people who also have real jobs too. When you're into marketing, you're halfway there anyways, so it's really easy for a lot of people in my field to switch to faggot mode.

You can use twitter for porn in the same way people use(d) plebbit (if you use porn at all, I suppose). That and following cows to see what they're up to are about the only good uses. At least it's anon, unlike facebook.
