You know, for all his failings I don't think he actually got vaccinated. I just can't picture him leaving the house for anything even if he does buy into the panic (which he probably does seeing as he's a TDS patient).
Besides, for the people that do get it, it seems more about posturing and feeling morally superior, none of which he has expressed in conjunction with the flu shot.

Spoony doesn't need the shot because he doesn't go anywhere or do anything, but he should definitely get it if there's a chance it will cause him to die sooner.
