This guy's constant struggle with being able to perceive reality accurately is astonishing.
Most INs are delusional. His problem is that he isn't but really wishes he was.

He is delusional which is why he constantly needs affirmation from social media. His moments of self loathing are performative so what little of his following is left over can kiss his ass. If he truly believed he was ugly and untalented he wouldn't be doing a review show where he films himself droning about a movie that came out weeks ago or injecting himself into Lupa's reviews despite being an editor.

Thinking about a certain hitpiece video made about one of my peers and how it was definitely the right thing to pivot away from my own negative content. Critique is one thing, especially if justified, but negativity as your business week-in-week-out blackens the soul. I know from experience.

Even recently I've had others say I need to go back to that older format full-time for views, that I've failed making videos on things people don't care about, but it would be even worse if I was cynically making things I didn't believe in or wanted to do just for the sake of clicks.

That video has also hit home a little bit as the same people who targeted Lewis also have gone after me in the past, and that has affected me. It left me with an embarrassment at myself that has sometimes meant I didn't do things, out of fear no one would watch or, worse, be too seen by these types.

I'm sorry that sort of thing has affected you like that, man. I will encourage you to always do what YOU feel makes the most sense for your work. The people who make this kind of shit will ALWAYS hate us and we can't live in fear of them.
