Secondly that story definitely did not happen like that, I bet the other players could have found a million ways that a Shit Lord could deal with a flamethrower gimmick. Most if not all star wars RPGs dole out force powers very meagrely and don't allow creative uses. (At least one has force grabbing your lightsaber be a totally different power from grabbing any other object.)

If no-one has the force choke power, there's no force choking.

The biggest hurdle in this one for force users is that getting those force powers is a huge money sink. Even deflecting blaster bolts is its own power afaik. But it's probably safe to say that any given Sith will know Force Choke, because that's a typical Sith thing to do.

Tbf, Star Wars d20 was shit, but the SAGA version is considered to be the better4e.

And that's not even going into the d6 version by West End Games, which is still one of the best-selling roleplaying games of all time despite being out of print for decades.

Ah well, regardless of how it happened, I still found it funny when Spoony concluded his rant with something like "I ruined their game, but this is what happens when you fuck with me!"
Like, who even fucked with him? The DM guy he calls "Crazy Mike" or so just proposed he roll a force user, since HE HIMSELF whined about mixed parties. When Spoopy didn't, he took it in stride with not a word of objection and didn't even check his character sheet for any kind of shenanigans.
So I'm concluding, what really happened was he did just get rolled, and bitched about it, and "what happens when you fuck with him" was that he'll tell a mean made-up story on the internet where he makes you look like the fool instead of himself.
