I bet he wonders about that every night, every day, every afternoon. Until he remembers that Michaud has him by the balls. The motherfucker did absolutely nothing, ever, at any point except for robbing those CA fuckers. He's so /ourguy/, it's surreal.

I'm pretty sure both Walkers know what a huge blunder they made giving Michaud the rights, and have done so for years. That's why they almost never talk business on social media, because they know Michaud could just pull the plug and kill their "career" stone dead.
Maybe Michaud owned the rights to Bum and all the other sketch stuff Doge was doing as well, and that's why they stopped doing those, so that when the time came, their channel would be full of Tamara's Never Seen and the Walker Bros reaction videos, which would carry them through.

Do the Tamara videos even pull in that many views? I can’t see her carrying half of CA. She doesn’t have a quarter of Doge’s screen presence (and he does have a little).

That said, I’m willing to bet the Walkers are looking for an escape. How many times has Doge said in those Doge Reviews “I wouldn’t watch this if it wasn’t my job”?

It's easy to say that now, but back then Doge couldn't keep a youtube account without getting banned. So when a guy you only know through your brother offers hosting, you don't have a lot of options. As for 5 second movies and Bum stuff, it's too short to be advertiser friendly.

I remember when he used to have a separate YT channel for every single episode of the Nostalgia Critic. They usually disappeared after some time anyway.
I still don't understand why he gave /ourguy/ the keys to the kingdom. He already made money by doing nothing but hosting, no need to sell the license. I'd have looked into hosting myself.
