Sounds right. I’ll admit I’m terrible at academia on the account of being dumb as bricks, but during the certification training I’ve done I didn’t have time nor the desire to get shitfaced like that. I wanted to learn music theory and tested into 2 levels higher than where I should've been. Colleges are there to fleece idiots of money. I'm glad they only got 5k from me.... better than most people, but def regret even doing general classes and electives.

You have to keep in mind that in Germany you don't really pay for University, at least not remotely as much as you guys do. You only have to pay back half of your student loan and the loan is interest free and can really be paid off whenever you feel like it.
