I see a theme here. Antwhiler misses having a maid. April turned out to be a pretty decent maid, what with all the dog walking, cooking, and presumably some cleaning too. She even prepared vegetables, something Spoony probably hasn’t touched ever since the maid left. I’m sure it’s been heavily inconvenient for him to have to do the chores now, what with April the Maid having left and all. Things were so much better for him when April used to be around, she was really good at cleaning the house after all.

It’s 100% the reason why he’s “sick” now, he isn’t cleaning his room and the accumulation of dust in the air is causing his mild sore throat. He’s wallowing in his filth, but not because April left him, as he was also wallowing in his filth when she was there, it’s just that she occasionally propped his basement door open to let some new air circulate in.

I’m glad to see the return of his “health problems” though, maybe he’s realizing that he can’t keep complaining about April the Maid anymore, so he’s going back to basics, using “health problems” (cough cough) as an excuse for why he can’t stream. Nah, if you look at his expressions and the tone he uses, when he says that he's gonna do this or that or how he keeps repeating how it's so daunting and how it's so much work, you can see clear as day, that he was never going to do it. He never actually wanted to do the movie, that's just what all IN's were doing at that time, so he copy and pasted it to his goals.

The only thing going through his mind, while making that video is "why the fuck didn't I set the patreon goal higher"?

I remember watching that video when it came out and immediately knew the movie was never gonna happen. Spoony already had a bad reputation at that point for slacking the fuck off, anyone who wasn’t one of his retarded simps could’ve told you the movie was DOA.

And honestly I think most of his fans didn’t care about a movie. Those CA movies were shitty as it is, why would anyone want Spoony to also make one of those autistic play-fighting pieces of crap masquerading as a feature film? It really demonstrated to everyone I think, how much his ego had taken over by then, that he couldn’t admit that he had simply bit off more than he could chew and that he needed to nix the movie. He just needed to say that the movie was a joke goal and that he didn’t think he was gonna hit 5K a month. He just needed to apologize for the error and instead say that he would focus on putting out a new review or something.

But no, he couldn’t do that, and instead he doubled down on a movie, despite the fact that he knew nothing about putting together an actual movie, had no budget (5K a month? How are you supposed to make a movie on piece meal welfare?), and clearly had put no thought into what the film was even gonna be about. It was a joke goal that he had no choice but to pretend was real all because his massive ego refused to let him admit his mistake.

Some people like to think the movie was his downfall, but it wasn’t the movie per say. It was his massive ego that destroyed him, piece by piece. All his problems come down to his uncontrollable ego.
