I'm gonna go to bat for Razor on this for just a moment. I think he's going about things softly, but also more or less normally. Remember that Spoony doesn't seem to have Leeched off him yet. But Spoony has fucked himself up, is licking his wounds(with diseased spit because that worm is more puss than man at this point), and having a pity party as he drags himself home. Which happens to be near enough to Razor's. That last part is probably a big part of why, since the edgelord is rather proud of his state.

All Razor really seems to do(unless I miss something) is offer him what normal people would here in the South, especially conservatives. A drink, maybe a hand moving in if he ever needs it. Not this overly empathetic offering of every single thing they can do to help like someone who can't regulate their emotions. Just a normal amount. Honestly, outside of just being an edgy contrarian, Razorfist is more adjusted than most IN's.

I'm trying to determine about when "Spoony" really began, and when he started just not doing jack shit anymore.

Somehow I've got the feeling that ever since his 'inception' it may well have been more years of him being completely unproductive than years where he actually recorded vidya and did stupid skits.
If I'm right I'll certainly try to rub it in with what passes as his fans these days.

Right after the breakup with Scarlet really is the start of this latest stage, I feel. His reviews stopped coming out at their normal pace, faith in his longstanding projects(for us on the forums) began to fall apart, and he started drifting into a wider variety of content, some good and bad. Around the same time as his The Ring for PS1 review and up until he started doing weird shit like Black Hole of Boardgames. There was a brief, fragile bouncing back when he started doing Ultima and shit. But ultimately the fall started in that post-Scarlet fallout.

Outside of that? Spoony's always been a whiny slacker.

He's a pathological narcissist so he will always see himself as the helpless victim of a cruel and unjust world. There will never be a time when he admits any mistakes or learns anything because true introspection is impossible for him. And therapy is impossible since he refuses to change and he is the problem. So he's sort of stuck in quicksand of his own making and he can't get out of it.
