It's a guy. Lorne is actually a male name believe it or not, at least it was, but at this point in history I'm not so certain anymore. Apparently it was popular at some point in Canada. Other then that's a spot on description.
As for the website it's design is dreadful, it has the channel awesome approved style of let put the same content on the site multiple times to make up for the lack of actual content to put on the site, because we all now whatever that site is it doesn't need to exist because it's a glorified overly on the database search engine, which by the way works like shit whenever you try to actually find anything. A interesting but absolutely pointless function is the possibility of using rss to track tags.
