I don’t get what the issue is here. Is he implying that he’s broke and has no money for food, and only recently managed to get himself a can of soup? Well yeah, that’s what happens when you don’t have a job. You don’t get a trophy wife, you don’t get to keep your house, you aren’t entitled to good food. Instead, when the bank is finally allowed to kick you out your younger brother might let you move back into his house or you get to sleep on the streets. No I don’t feel pity for him and no one should either. That he’s leeching off the last few people willing to go along with his pity party is pretty pathetic.
