A few pages back someone posted about there was this guy who wrote a blog about all his various ailments, was clearly an alcoholic, and begged people for donations. Though funny this guy did at least some free-lance writing work. That's end-game spoony.

That was me and yeah that seems true. That guy, Rodger Jacobs, actually wrote "porn scripts" for videos in the 1990s, maybe the only job on earth easier than "making videos about old video games," and like Noah he somehow managed to flunk out of an industry or field few thought you could flunk out of.

A friend of his wrote his obituary here (nobody else bothered to) and tried to find something redeeming about Jacobs and couldn't really do it. If Spoony were born 20 years earlier this is exactly what he'd be. It seems easy to believe he'd do something like this:

Self-stigmatized by the homeless series in the Sun, Rodger solicited money through most of his declining years, and from many people, including quite a few fans. (One, I recall, sent him $1,000, an amount that made Rodger express real contempt for indicating too much obsequiousness).

JacksonJinson will be sending Western Union payments to the Boss until one of them dies.

He would delete them from time to time to bury evidence that he was begging for money online for more than a decade (it was always "wow who could have foreseen these circumstances") but this was his last one, he gave up after that and would just beg for money from facebook.
