For those who don't know, grenades in xcom have a 100% chance to hit, do AoE damage and are a one-hit kill in the early game in Enemy Within.

They're already fucking overpowered in enemy within's early game. Not surprised Faggot Frederico wanted to be able to spam them even more than you already can. Fuck cover, flanking, skills or tactics, just throw 'nades at everything.

Though I seem to recall them also blowing up any loot the aliens might have on them.

Especially in Persona once you've created yourself a broken Persona that is immune or at least resistant to almost everything and can alpha strike every random encounter with reckless abandon because it has skills that let it recover 100% after each fight. I could run around Persona 4's final dungeon alone for the lulz.

Not that big a deal in the early game because those alien blasters you're recovering aren't equippable, and the game isn't timed in any case. Wasting time is encouraged, and so is grinding. EXALT was supposed to stop both but it doesn't, because you can easily finish the EXALT quest line while you're still technically in the early-midgame.

I knew Joe was a bitch nigga but that grenade shit takes the cake. "I only want to carry around 100% accurate AoE cheese weapons and just spam them for the entire game!" The sad thing is enemy within has a ton of ways to break the game (until endgame) but Joe probably doesn't know about it.

The reason endgame isn't broken (if anything, it's weighted against you) is because of sectopods. 2 sectopods will fuck your day up no matter what overpowered bullshit you have.

Those old CRPGs Spoony has all this nostalgia for? He never really played them. He watched his older brother. He can't play them himself for shit. All of his memories are from sitting next to someone else while they did everything. Many years ago when he was doing his Ultima Retrospective I saw a Twitch (I even think it was called Justin.tv back then) stream of him playing Ultima Underworld 2 to get footage for his videos. He fucking sucked. He couldn't even get to the gem in the castle basement that leads to all the actual worlds you explore in the game. He gave up before he could even get past what is essentially the game's tutorial level. It's like if someone played Mario 64 and couldn't even get inside a painting because they kept dying in the castle courtyard.

The only thing Ultima that i remember Spoony playing was also on twitch or justin.tv, dont remember, he was playing Ultima Underworld and he was just sucking, he reached a rat and the fucking rat kept killing him over and over again, i think he put that bit on the review but only used it once, i remember him dying a whole lot to that particular enemy.

I remember when i played the game and reached the same area, i just fucking killed the rat in one try... it was just sad. (that being said, that rat was truly a hoarder, had a lot of stuff gathered in there, so i spent some time eating rat munched cheese)

I also remember him playing Ultima and he sucked. For such a master and a game he grew up playing he was struggling to get out of the tutorial zone. This was obvious proof at the time that all of his stories are bullshit. His brother or his friends were playing these games. He was mostly circle jerking with his d&d butt buddies. Notice how he has a million d&d stories but hardly any stories about video games he played as a kid. And you can see he didn't play any games he reviewed during this time period. He stole footage from other people for all of the reviews for the ultima games, final fantasy x and xiii. Probably the only footage that was his was that shitty Big Trouble In Little China game since none existed for him to steal.
