Why is she not making any movies then?

She doesn't have kids (and probably won't ever), she does have some good earning sand while her fanbase isn't the biggest one, it is one with disposable income that she can go to (aka: not children).

So, if her passion is movie making, she can make time for it, that is how filmakers are made. Write the script and do the VO for her overreaching cartoon essays, throw a couple of bucks to an intern to edit it, which is easy, there is barely any creative decision to make, just math the images with the speech, and go work on your movie.

I mean, talking is cheap, and it is hard to be a filmaker, but at the same time, people with much less oportunities do make their own movies, Lindsay can't complain.

But she will, and i have the impression she knows she doesn't have what it takes to be a true creator. Like Moviebob, she seems more confortable projecting her own voice and ideas onto other's works, hence the bullshit analysis that serve no purpose besides their own egos.

Still, bullshit is always going to be bullshit, and in the back of her head, there is that little voice, always saying "you are a hack who can't create"... and Lindasay awnser for that seems to be either twitter or alchool.

Yeah, she's never even attempted to create anything original, unless you count "The A Word", which didn't require any writing and very little directing skill because it was just people talking and getting emotional about a controversial topic (people give documentaries like that WAY too much credit because they play people's emotions). Say what you will about Linkara, at least he tried. He was crap at it, but he at least put in the effort which is more than Lindsay will ever do. Hell, even Demo Reel and those awful anniversary movies by Doge are an attempt. She knows she has no original ideas.
