Is this one of these sponsoring things that almost every IN does these days?
And they should release Cheetahmen on Steam.

Seems to be the new method. People block or skip pre-rolls, so instead, we get a couple minutes of "but first, let's talk about ExpressVPN!" or whatever in the video itself.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:26 pmIs this one of these sponsoring things that almost every IN does these days?

Oh is it one of those NordVPN/Dollar Shave Club shilling segments?Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:17 pm
I think he means the ad is part of the video, so it can't be adblocked. It can, however, be skipped as normal.

Did anybody watch Akira? I never did because when I was younger and saw that giant fat blob growing in some random amv I wasn't very enthusiastic about ever watching it and forgot about it's existence

I've seen it. It was a visual spectacle back when I saw it, I think it still beats current anime with all the CGI bullshit they use now.Credo in Deum wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 7:09 pmDid anybody watch Akira? Tetsuo blowing up like a pufferfish was like something out of a Troma movie, except animated. It was goofy as fuck yet awesome somehow. I never read the manga, but I hear it fully fleshes out the story. But I mean, that's pretty much par for the course when it comes to anime adaptations of manga.

Haven't watched, but it's somewhere on my list. I kinda picture it being similar to Ghost in the Shell, but with gore instead of waifu.
