I put a much higher probability on him getting money from family (either an 'allowance' or an inheritance of some sort) over him having a job. His family isn't "$rich$", but from what I can piece together about them they could likely keep him afloat for a long time.

I'm familiar with Spyderco's VG10. It's easy to sharpen on ceramic or whetstones and like butter on diamond. You can go for pretty aggressive angles but it tends towards chipping rather than rolling so I'd go for something around a 20° angle.
Once sharp, it holds an edge alright and responds very well to some minor upkeep with ceramic or artificial sapphire. Freshen it up once a week from regular use and you're fine. That is unless you cut cardboard with it. That fucks it's shit up real good.
I prefer a rough 800 grit diamond stone grind at 23° on it. Mirror edges aren't just gay shit for faggots, they are also entirely wasted on VG10.

Was away for a week. Is the Trial Public? Do we have a guy from here or Kiwi farms or wherever who can attend and record the Trial? I am in that filthy god forsaken city for Star Wars Celebration on the 13th. His Trial is the 15th. I can potentially get a hotel room and smoke cigarettes for 2 days until the 15th then attend his trial. Need more details though, like is he even going to show up? Can we openly record (I don't own a spy camera or anything that can be concealed, would have to use tablets and Iphone)? Do I need to show ID and shit? or is it like a sci-fi convention panel where I can just walk in, take a seat and watch the event? I never attended a trial or anything, I'm not even an American citizen, would they allow me to witness a trial>?

Can I say I am a foreign press agent/Journalist, and the trial is of interest to the gaming community or some shit?
