Is there any particular reason Spoony is getting so crazy about this right now? The original Tweet that seemed to start this was him responding to someone noting that with control of the two houses of congress and the presidency, a repeal was possible. Which people have known for over half a year and is old news, so freaking out about it all of a sudden is weird. I could understand if this happened shortly after some big development, like the repeal passing in the House, but that was a month ago. Has there been some major change that makes it passing in the Senate more likely within the last few days that I've missed?

Don't know why he's going ape about this now. Conservatives have been going after Obamacare since it was proposed. They hated it and hated Obama. Liked it or don't, but Trump ran under the Republican label and a big part of them defining their identity post-Obama, as a party, is tied up in "Repeal and Replace." They're out for it and they've finally got the support to do it. Whether you think Obamacare was a success, a failure, or something in-between, it's pretty clear the writing is on the wall.

What I don't think will happen is people dying in the streets. The Republicans know they need to come up with something that satisfies the voting population and large corporations sufficiently that they won't get ROFLstomped the fuck out of the House and Senate next time a vote comes up. If they fuck up the repeal too hard, Shillary can just run on "I'll bring back obamacare" and win.
