Goonbasterds was shit and I can agree with them it was cynical as fuck with how calculated it was for nostalgia retards. Same shit as may sue star wars crap. It was made from the same mold.
Matrix 4 is also shit, because it's a movie from a series that should have never been franchise. When even some of the biggest cocksuckers like ign say it blows, you know they fucked up bad.
As for what is avantgrade, from what I remember, they improved a lot of shit in it and all actors wen unprepared and were just there. That's probably because shitheads quickly slapped this movie together and went with first draft.

the excuse is basically: WB forced the transchovskies and as revenge only one of them dudes made an extra bad movie on purpose. Oh that will show you WB when I throw away the last bit of a "career" I could have.

I think its just that, an excuse, this was a serious attempt at trying to be edgy and witty but failed on every level and is just plain dumb.

It's meta and a satire of corporate Hollywood and sequels. Thomas Anderson is a game developer who made the game The Matrix in 1999, and the studio Warner Bros. is gonna make a sequel whether they like it or not.

I see it more as a protest rather than trying to be clever. They didn't want a sequel made, and didn't want the studio to make one without them, so they intentionally sabotaged it. It's pure ego driven contempt for the studio, and ignoring that the audience is still there and has to be subjected to this shit. You should at least try to make something entertaining.
