I don't think these people would be nearly as insufferable if they only had IRL or random message boards as outlets. They love this social media shit so much (since it is essentially custom-tailored to stimulate their little egos) that they become addicted to it.Dingus Bajingus wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 8:31 pmLoathe as I am to even slightly defend social media, it isn't even Twitter's fault, really. It all works together to form a perfect storm of bullshit.

Oh, I don't disagree in the slightest. Hence the whole "working together" aspect of my little diatribe. But I have to be fair; there are people who use the platforms in less insufferable ways, and I don't think the creators intended them to get overrun by this shit, so I can't in good conscience blame the platforms themselves. The cons doubtlessly outweigh the pros, though. Holy fuck.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 8:42 pmHe might've figured that he leaves the house so rarely that nothing will ever happen.I don't think these people would be nearly as insufferable if they only had IRL or random message boards as outlets. The creators of social media created them mostly to mine people's personal data for money and, in the case of Twitter, also to fellate celebrities, so it's not surprising they all turned out to be cancer

Stupid Spoony, if you never left Phoenix you could've e-begged your way into some Royal Rumble tickets.

He sees you when you're sleeping...

Hey man. Just a fan here. Don't worry, I'm not here to talk about how much you've 'let me down' or how 'disappointed I am in you'.
I'm here to tell you that I get it. At least a little bit. As someone who struggles on a daily basis with Anxiety and Depression, I understand just how hard it is to even get out of bed sometimes. Hell, even just taking the time to write a tweet or Facebook post takes mental preparation some days.
I guess what I'm trying to get at here is that there ARE some people who understand the struggles you're going through and we hope you get better some day.
Wish you the best, man. Take it easy and pace yourself as much as you can.

So Chegwin just mentioned SJW Bingo in the Murz thread; has DHI ever made a bingo card for this type of thing? You could set your watch by this shit. Tack that onto OBM's Awards idea, I guess.

What sucks is I’ve worked with people who dealt with crippling mental illness, and they were a lot more sympathetic than Spoony and the other INs. I don’t know, maybe it’s because they didn’t pour toxicity through the world via the internet or just that they actually came off as decent people who were genuinely suffering, but vile wretches like Spoony will never get that empathy from me.Dingus Bajingus wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 7:29 am>Anxiety and DepressionGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 7:22 amStraight from the inbox

I assume this was posted already.
Re: Spoony... nothing else to say really
Sorry for pulling this up since I've been catching up on the thread, but yeah, it was TOTALLY better when the libs were talking about Trump getting two scoops of ice cream or liking his steaks well done with ketchup, along with covfefe, small hands, and Melania's white hat and red aluminum Christmas trees. Every single one of these dumbfucks needs to look up the phrase "glass houses and stones."
