Yes even back in the hug box era everyone hated Film Bald so much that CA moderators and video collaborators (like Spoony and Brad and MikeJ) had to step in to stop the bullying. It is honestly surprising that any of his new solo videos manage to break 5K views (although in fairness, not many do)

I don’t know if those comments sections are still salvageable but I’m glad I’m not the only one who remembers the disdain for people like Maffew Hairs Left and others. Suede was one who Muhchode had to step in for a lot, I remember he made some video where he said or did something incredibly stupid and a commenter joked that it he kept it up he wouldn’t be on the site much longer and the COD God himself reiterated the comment back at them.

Yeah Cuck, Doge is a perfect example of the road to hell is paved with good intentions. He wanted to make a website with a consistent flow of content from various contributors who covered a variety of subjects, but had poor quality control and unleashed a plague of fucktards who’d live on to haunt us even after their “careers” tanked. He was a man with a dream that quickly became a nightmare for all of us.

Speaking of the losers that made it, does anyone else recall a thread set up for people interested in joining the site? I know they had a ton of erod level mimics and wannabes trying to get in and they had to set up an iron curtain post warning them with guidelines or some shit. I was never much for forums and never got into theirs but I do remember bits like that from skimming over stuff.

Fucking right?! Even when I was a regular viewer I avoided those crossovers like the fucking plague.

And the greatest irony is that this was the crossover that has gotten Spoony the most flak from his fanbase (afaik, at least). He basically had to throw in a joke about how his viewers hate crossovers next time he did one.

Ashens is going on Filmbrain's podcast. What I don't get is why filmbrain has such an irregular schedule for his podcast? You think he would try to get these out on a regular basis, like several times a week, weekly, or once every 2 weeks. Nope he just puts it out whenever. He just keeps doing with guests and without a cohost.

He doesn't see his podcasts as a serious alternative to his movie reviews that nobody watches. He has gotten too used to be in front of a camera and can't stroke his ego quite as well when it's just his voice.
Him always having guests and no cohosts makes me suspect that these podcasts are only done since they're the only way he can have "crossovers" these days (similar to how Linkara's Best Anniversary Movie Evar was just a shitty skype call session).

I assume you meant back then, because from what I'm seeing right now, Lindsay gets way more regular views than either Doge or Brad. Her and Angry Joe are the modern C-listers.
