Oh yeah, there are plenty of fun stories whenever boards or miniatures are involved. Like how Robotech RPG Tactics (aka "here are some new Unseen minis for you BattleTech fans") was delayed for a year and then the blokes behind it had the balls to say that they'll only do half of the promised minis.

You don't even need miniatures to fuck up. Mekton Zero has been kickstarted in late 2013, and there's still no tangible progress in sight.
