On the subject of Jim's lackluster Spoony video, I'm pretty sure that the only people who could rip Spoony apart properly and thoroughly are the DHI oldfags on this forum. Unlike some of his old fanbase, a lot of us aren't silently hoping that Spoony will bounce back and become Good Spoony again.

Came here to pretty much say this. Thankfully, any DHI veteran with the chops to pull it off would never actually aspire to be another e-drama jewtube namefag, so the deep lore of Spoony's downward spiral will remain buried with the bowels of DHI forever. Where it belongs.

Bonus Payacon Side note: It's clear now that Jim's whole CA series is just a quick rundown on the CA shitfest for those who know absolutely nothing about them already. Which honestly can't be what the patreon supporters who begged him to do this were hoping for. If you already knew CA well enough to pay your kahntent producer of choice to go after them then these half-assed low-temp roasts have to be kind of underwhelming. (Then again, if you're dumb enough to be a paying supporter of le sarcastic cadence man in the first place, your standards for quality probably aren't very high, but that's beside the point).

So, what really happened here is Jim took the shekels of his most devoted fandom only to completely disregard pleasing them in favor of making content that appeals to the bigger majority of less-devoted fans who casually follow him on jewtube. Which is patreon culture in a nutshell. Give your money to your cyber-idol friend-sim just so they can fuck you.

Holy shit that interview was hilarious, few quick points.

I still don't believe Jackson when he says he never gave Noah money. If the guy can use PayPal for Steam he can use it for patreon too.

It was interesting to see he actually had some frustration, But ultimately he still believes there's this head on desk depressive Noah who cries whenever some mean troll talks about patreon. I honestly wish the interviewer mentioned that many people who are depressed still go to their jobs everyday so why does Noah get a free pass?

If another year went by without this video spoony would be off the map entirely. This is the most attention he has received in years. Hey, remember when all those Channel Awesome people launched that whole "Where's the Fair Use?" campaign about how the DMCA was being misused and such? It's funny because the MisterMetokur video has a much better argument for being fair use because he shows far fewer copyrighted clips and they're more pertinent to the point he's making,

Then again, in what fairness I can give, I'm not sure Spoony ever joined up with #WTFU or even made a gesture towards it, probably because that would require some modicum of effort. Still, highly amusing.

I'm more bothered by Linkara aping Moviebob's habit of "I'm just going to awkwardly split up all my tweets mid-sentence and make them annoying to read" rather than trying to have a tweet end on a sentence so it's more coherent. I know sometimes you have to split them mid sentence but that's at least 5 tweets in a row with being cut off mid sentence.
