We were mad about the community just sweeping Raymscreator's death under the rug like a dirty little secret. A lot of people in the community cared about that guy in the moment, then went on about their business, they didn't even bother to archive the guy's series the proper way, while TFS and LK have enough reuploads out there. But once we made the Abridging is Dead video, we realized how much we weren't into that format, we liked doing skits with anime characters more than anything. All I ever gave a fuck about in the end was making a video that I could look back on and laugh at with my friends, and some of those Gantz videos were good enough for me to look back on and make me chuckle, and some of the others, yeah not so much, it was all about trying to find a format and a series that fit what we were going for.

That shit never got past the first draft of an episode because the person heading it dropped off the face of the earth and by that time I was too busy to tell them to get their shit together, even though the anime only had 1 season at the time. If you think that's bad, you should have seen the fucking Naruto one, I look back on it and hate it with a passion so much that I deleted the initial channel because by the end of the scripting of episode 4, the person heading it didn't want me involved anymore, but because people knew me for the other projects I had been involved with, I didn't want to look at it anymore because I was ashamed of that garbage and I know they would shame me too. Like I said, Gantz was the easiest to write jokes for because the concept was so stupid and the characters were so one dimensional that you can write them into whatever the fuck situation you wanted. As long as its about stupid people fighting aliens, and you got a main character who jacks off, the plot remains.

Face it guys: Long-running abridgeshit like YGOA or DBZA are never gonna be finished. Either they delay shit for flimsy reasons to stretch out this shit as long as possible, and/or once everything starts too be too much work they just declare the current arc to be the final one.
Either way you probably should've stuck to the actual animu.
