I kinda like Brad as a regular laidback guy, but his videos tend to get on my nerves. They're poorly structured, his deadpan delivery is hit and miss, and the snobby personality just comes across as half-arsed and fake. Like "ooh, look at me, I'm parodying critics y'all, now laugh."

I still like brad. It is just so unfortunate that he never grows in something better. There was some annual review of the cinemasnob (xxxth review) where the review was less of importance and the story was more in the foreground. Not a lazy skit or anything, but more of a decent work which would require better scriptwriting. You could also see it back in 80s Dan.
So I though he would work towards scriptwriting, by the side, and get some offerings while the whole youtube thing at least could pay his billiths.
But unfortenate the whole reviewing in a car came along, and his friends were too busy. That boat has sailed.
His friends have lives and kids now that single with time on their hands stuff is over. Brad relied too much on his friends for everything. I mean when you're an amateur and your around amateurs you're going to stay an amateur. I said it 100 times before if he was serious he would of tried to get work on real films helping and learn how to do them right. Write a real script, hire real actors and enter his actual movie into a real film festival. He's like Spoony in that he thinks the stuff he makes is golden. It's golden alright... if it's covered in piss. His stuff never progressed and now he's getting pissy about it and people criticizing what he does. He'll be another I"m broke need money in the next 5-7 years when his fanbase ages off.
DHI Faggots pout and get mad because I tell them like it is then they have the nerve to call me a Pussy  I'm not the one getting emotional over the truth. You fuckers need a real hobby outside masturbating on the internet to internet nobodies.

Brad's problem was he never took his "career" seriously as a business, even once he started making money. He seemed to get forever stuck in that high school mentality of "I go to my friend's house and we use a camcorder to make movies on the weekends" and never progress beyond that.

Instead of hiring actors once he could afford to and focusing on scripts he just kept rounding up his friends to film shit in the living room or back yard. Once everyone around him got jobs, got married, and started having kids his whole "businesses" imploded on him. Sure he could still do Snob episodes and movie reviews in fucking cars, even the occasional crowd funded movie, but doing anything else that required an actual cast? That all fell apart.

80s Dan, The Reviewers, Brad And Jared (and Irving...for an episode), that Shot On Shitteo movie he was supposedly gonna film quick and on the cheap that he seemed to just give up on completely... all of that went away largely because Brad was relying exclusively on his friends to be his cast.

Yeah, things are falling apart for Brad. The Cinema Snob is more popular than ever since he now mainly focuses on shitty Christian flicks but all of his other shows have suffered since most of his friends have gotten real lives. All he needs to do is learn more about filmmaking and hire real actors but he would rather stay in his rut. Oh well, he'll probably be able to milk it for another 5 or so years but when he's in his 40s and doesn't have any real career opportunities he'll hate himself for not improving while he could.

This is a real thing for those internet nobodies, isn't it? To just assume that everything will stay as it is, with no need for long-term planning or actually getting better at your "job"?

Sure, you have the occasional exception like Joe realizing early on that YT is the way to go, but now he too assumes his fame is an universal constant.
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

It's a pattern with these guys, which is actually rather inevitable. AVGN, Nostalgia Critic, Angry Joe, Spoonyone, even Mike from Red Letter Media, all of them started out doing a thing that made them super famous and earned them money, but at some point all these guys got tired of doing the same shit for years and years. A young 20 something screwing around with amateur-tier shit a decade later is going to want to move on, and it's obvious when that point comes, the only question is how successful they are with their attempts at a transition.

Like, AVGN and the RLM crew managed to move on to other things, and only do their old style videos when they feel like it. NC tried by "killing off the character"(why?) and completely fucked it up so bad that he almost destroyed his website and had to come crawling back to his NC stuff with his tail tucked firmly between his legs. Spoonyone just flat out gave up and now all he does is occasionally livestream just to make the rent, he's like the dollar whore of the Internet Nobody world. Angry Joe's at the point where he's tired of this shit and wants to move on, plus he's getting fat and lazy so he'd rather do easy low effort livestreams, but knows that doing so would kill his earnings. I'm interested in seeing how off kilter and bitter Joe gets from now on, he's clearly hitting some sort of breaking point.

I wonder if Brad's tired of this shit. Reviewing garbage-tier films, porn(why even bother?), and shows no one ever believed were good anyway, and poorly talking about films while in a car, like, how long can someone do this shit before they go, "why is this my life?" Honestly I don't think Brad's there yet, cause his output is prolific, and no one who hates their stuff works that hard to make so much of it, but I gotta wonder if we're starting to see the cracks in the wall.

If Brad isn't already frustrated then he'll start to get frustrated any month now. Like you said, every interior crocodile-alligator eventually gets tired of the thing that made them famous and tries to move onto something else. It's inevitable.

I just know he seemed fine with trolls and used to post on here
The only time I recall him posting here was when he was going around everywhere telling the story of how his childish dangerhair ex girlfriend hooked up with Jake and how he and Jake stopped being friends because of it. He was here to crosspost tumblr drama, not because he wanted to participate in the bantz.
Finally somebody said it. Brad didn't "use to post here". He made one post. A single post to tell his side of the story about the judo flip incident to not look like a dumbass, all just because he knows people read DHI.
He's always been passive-aggressive in his comments towards any mild disagreement. He just did it less often.
He has gotten worse but wasn't ever great to begin with, just less of a dick.

You faggots need to stop going full retard over AngrySpoonySnob. Neither should you take clear bait, nor should you disagree with him by default when he's making a reasonable post. And he won't be banned either. We don't ban here. Fun allowed; handle the banter.
