Re: Mush-Brain Mega-Thread (Brandon and His Presidency)

Some right-wing commentators are up in arms over this book, but I think this is a great thing. Biden's mental issues had been obvious for years. They were obvious in 2019. Only Blue No Matter Who voters would disagree. That's a lot of people, sure, but I see a book like this as one of the best argum...

I have no strong opinion on whether she should or shouldn't have been fired, but I do find it funny when women do social media attention-seeking and it backfires.
This stuff is always entertaining to me

Re: What are you listening to?

Kanye West's new song, "Heil Hitler", banned from all major streaming platforms, is kinda clever. Wokes are either up in arms over it as "Nazi propaganda" or dismissing it as edgelord shit. What they miss is that the song is not really about Hitler. It's a song from an angry man who embraces his rol...

Re: Black Lives Matter?

Navigation apps aren't perfect anyway. I once used it to find a restaurant or something and for some reason the app directed me to the alley BEHIND the place. No parking. No nothing. Just the alley. I still don't understand that. All it takes is one experience with a weird little glitch like that fo...

Re: Black Lives Matter?

This doesn't happen all of the time, but I've had neighbor's food delivered to my door. House numbers can be hard to see sometimes. If the street is dark and a person orders food and maybe doesn't turn on any outside lights, confusion is still possible. Maybe the DoorDash guy WAS casing the neighbor...

Re: Black Lives Matter?

Anthony Cumia is crazy, but he is, oddly, a great example of a responsible gun owner. When that black woman assaulted him in Times Square over a decade ago and that resulted in tweets that cost him his satellite radio job, Cumia was armed that whole time. He had a gun on him, but he didn't pull it o...

Re: True Crime

I had my "serial killer fascination" period in my 20s, I guess. Jim Goad's dark, brutal, epic, hilarious Top 100 serial killers article in ANSWER Me! is a seminal piece of writing for some of my generation. I've probably read that thing 20 times. The typical serial killer is a loser who tries to be ...

Re: Black Lives Matter?

Shooting the guy in the back doesn't look good. That's all I know.

Maybe the guy was genuinely threatened. Maybe the guy was all "Aah, a nigger! Bang, bang!". Maybe they were secret gay lovers having a spat.

We'll find out, I guess.

Re: Black Lives Matter?

What do you guys think of this one? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14681793/John-J-Reilly-DoorDash-driver-Orange-County.html It seems like he was in the wrong, but I can see why he did it. I can't. He shot the guy while he was running away. That's assuming that this story is being reporte...
